ABS Group was facing a series of growth challenges that were further hindered by the economic downturn that hit the energy industry harder than most. Our top goal for the site was to help grow business leads for ABS Group, focusing on priority service lines and allowing them to diversify markets. As the web strategist and UX lead on the project, I worked closely with our content strategy team to develop a user-experience that would convert the site into a sought after repository for content that would draw more qualified traffic to the site, and ultimately leads.

We used the website overhaul as an opportunity to reinvigorate the brand and develop an online experience that finally reflected the organization's true excellence. Our primary aim was to create an engaging digital experience that was appealing, easy to use, and would clearly demonstrate the company’s value to its various audiences. Secondarily we helped the organization better integrate with its parent company, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

ABS Group's Primary Personas
We create a content strategy, information architecture and technological platform that would work long term for ABS Group. ABS Group never ceases to create new solutions and expand the horizons of its target industries. The new site would need the ability to expand at the same rapid pace. We built it using BrandExtract’s proprietary content management system, SAM, to set up ABS Group for unlimited content creation into the future, without the need for extensive IT support.
